Dan's life changed at the age of four when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. After beating the odds, he began discovering how to effectively cope in a world that seemed relentlessly unfamiliar. Through his experiences and indefatigably positive attitude, Dan was able to harness his innate sensitivities into a new healing modality. Today, he excels in the world as a teacher, mentor and guide who continues to create best practices for life. His work breaks barriers, transforms lives, and gets to the heart of what really matters.

Dan has had the distinct pleasure of performing with some of the world's most treasured talents in the entertainment industry. He traveled the country as an advocate for LGBT civil rights and contributed to a number of collegiate, community, and scholarly publications. A student of ancient wisdom, new thought techniques and quantum theory, his work intersects the art of healing, the joy of living and the existential possibilities available for everyone to experience their best life in the here and now.

Dan earned his PhD in Transpersonal Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology at Sofia University, his master's degree in Public Administration from Baruch College, and his bachelor's in Communication from North Carolina State University. In grad school, he was the founding president of the Graduate Arts Association and the founding vice president of the LGBT Graduate Society.
